I am excited about the move in .
It will be a first move since we came to Delhi.
But I am really nervous too.
So many what ifs keep me awake. like a never ending drum roll.
The thoughts would keep tumbling in the head until the day arrived when we Shifted to the new place.
It was hassle free and everything went on smoothly. It had to, because dad was there throughout to help us.
Its amazing how having parents with you can make anything so simple and easy. What seemed like moving a mountain eventually was just like watching butter melt on a toast.
I still remember when I was little and times when mom went sick and it got me a bit worried as i am so dependent on her. But in those situations, Dad would manage everything apart from taking care of mom.
He would wake us up, get us dressed for school, make his special, salted crispy parathas and cup full of very light tea which shall be refilled ! Yummy..! :)
The only concern was to do the braids. But i miss those times, especially after years when you realize that Mom Dad never change... we kids do.
